Two people trapped and more than a dozen injured after bus crashes into a tree in south London

 

It’s been reported that Front of bus, a 59 from Kennington Road to Kings Cross, crumpled against a tree few minutes ago in south London while swerving to avoid an emergency vehicle.

Police, ambulance and fire crews are on the scene of the crash in Kennington Road.

A police sergeant at the scene said a number of people have been injured. It is not clear if anyone has died. More pics after the cut...
