Is it right to kiss a child of morethan 2years old in the mouth?

It's well understood that most mothers, in the spirit and joy of motherhood, tends to show extreem affection to their babies. But, i often wonder as an African man if it is right to kiss babies directly in the mouth even at above 2years old.
