A few months back, Kim was in Nigeria for an event. She tried to shake hands with a popular Nigerian comedian named Basketmouth . . and dude swerved!!!

I was at the event and here's what happened. It happened a year ago at Darey's Love Like a Movie concert. Basket was the host at the pre-event gala and during his set, he jokingly told Kim he wanted a pic with her that would make him look cool. He said something like 'You try to talk to me and I'd act like you're not one of the most sought after women in the world, like I'm too busy to talk to you." A smiling Kim graciously obliged him and so they took the pics while everyone laughed. It was all fun and jokes.

46 years Rajee Narinesingh who was born a man, decided he wanted a different life and identity and turned himself to a woman. He didn't like what he looked like as a woman and decided to have plastic surgery done. She didn't have enough money to go to 'dem Beverly Hills 90210 doctors and decided to do what she could afford. The black market plastic surgeon she paid to do the surgery injected 'cement' like filler into her cheeks, lips, breasts and buttocks leaving her face looking deformed.

 

The fake doctor who carried out the operation, Oneal Ron Morris, 32, was jailed for a year in January 2014, nine years after she carried out the surgery, after admitting one count of practicing healthcare without a licence.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday finally sacked the embattled Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah.

Others affected were Caleb Olubolade (Police Affairs); Godsday Orubebe (Niger Delta); and Yerima Ngama (State, Finance).

“They were dropped, they did not resign,” a cabinet source told our correspondent.

Oduah’s approval for the purchase of two bullet-proof cars for N255m caused public outrage in the country with many Nigerians calling for her removal and prosecution.

Father Padlocks Son’s Mouth, Beats Him To Death

A father has allegedly beaten his four-year old son to death, padlocking his mouth to prevent him from shouting while the beating lasted.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at 7, Adetola Adelaja Street, Meiran area of Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the man, Mr. Chris Elvis, who claims to sell computer accessories, allegedly locked his son, Godrich in the room, padlocked his mouth and beat him to death with an object that inflicted deep cuts all over his body, claiming that the boy was an Ogbanje (evil child that dies and reincarnates repeatedly).

The man landed in trouble when his landlady, Mrs Popoola who was in the market, was informed that something was happening in her house. She rushed home and discovered that the boy had been beaten to death by his father.

Plane crash in Algeria kills 103 people

 

A military transport plane carrying relatives of members of the armed forces veered off the runway and crashed on take-off in southern Algeria today February 11th, killing all 103 people onboard. The plane was carrying 99 passengers and 4 crew members.

According to reports coming from news agencies in Algeria, the Air Algerie plane, a Boeing 737, which is the country's national airline, crashed after one of its engines caught fire as it took off in the remote city of Tamanrasset in the Sahara Desert.

A spokesman for the airline told AFP that "There was a mechanical problem on take-off". This is the first major accident in the history of Algeria's national airline, set up in 1962.

It is understandable because if you listen to the album, No Place For My Dream, you will realize it is worth the award. The album deserved to win but I know what it takes to win. Grammy is very political, the voting process is complex. There was an argument last award where it was said some people were robbed. The person who won the Best World Music Album had to apologise later that, he is not supposed to win. A lot of voting are involved and if you play the political game very well you would win. From Lagos here, I don’t have the means to play that political game. I have no intention to play along.
